1.3 Territory

Our products and services are available exclusively within the United Kingdom. We do not accept or fulfill orders or bookings from outside the UK. Any such orders placed from outside the UK will not be processed. If any payment has been authorized through our payment service provider, the authorization will be cancelled and no funds will be captured.

2. Sales and Order Processing

2.1 Order Process and Contract Formation

2.1.1 Offer to Purchase

When a customer places an order through The Tyre Connect website, by text message, or by any other authorized channel, the customer is making an offer to purchase the specified tyres at the price displayed at the time of ordering. Any order acknowledgment or “order confirmation/received” email issued by The Tyre Connect confirms receipt of your offer only. It does not constitute acceptance of that offer or create a binding contract.

2.1.2 Acceptance and Contract Formation

The Tyre Connect conducts its operations on a just-in-time procurement model and does not own, possess, or maintain a physical inventory of tyres.

A legally binding contract for the sale of tyres will only be formed when:

  1. The Tyre Connect has successfully procured and obtained possession and ownership of the tyres ordered; and

  2. The Tyre Connect sends a written delivery confirmation (or equivalent communication) confirming the tyres are ready for delivery or fitting.

Only at that point, acceptance of your offer occurs and a binding contract arises at the price confirmed in your order total.

Until such acceptance, neither party shall be under any binding obligation to complete the sale.

2.1.3 Right to Refuse or Cancel

The Tyre Connect reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Pricing or typographical errors;

  • Product unavailability;

  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

If an order is refused or cancelled prior to acceptance, any applicable pre-authorised payments will be cancelled or released immediately, and you will be notified in writing. If cancellation occurs after contract formation (for reasons beyond our reasonable control), any applicable pre-authorised payments will be cancelled or released immediately, and you will be notified in writing.

2.1.4 Price Finality

The total price stated at the time of order — as displayed on the checkout page and confirmed in your order summary — represents the entire amount payable once the contract is formed.
  No hidden fees, surcharges, or additional costs will be applied beyond those clearly stated prior to checkout and confirmed in your delivery confirmation.

2.2 Booking Acceptance for Services

All service bookings (including Jump Starts and Puncture Repairs) made via our website, by text, or by any authorized method are subject to acceptance by The Tyre Connect. Upon successful completion of a booking, customers will receive a booking confirmation either via email or text.

We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel any booking for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer;

  • Scheduling conflicts;

  • Safety concerns or unsuitable working conditions;

  • Suspected fraudulent activity.

2.3 Pricing Policy

All prices for products and services displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without prior notice; however, any such change will not affect orders or bookings already accepted.

In the event that a pricing error is identified, The Tyre Connect will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible. The customer may then choose to:

  • Proceed with the order or booking at the correct price; or

  • Cancel the order or booking and receive a full refund (if any payment was made).

Prices shown at the time of order confirmation are final and binding once acceptance occurs.

2.4 Payment Methods and Charges

The Tyre Connect accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Bank Transfer

  • Cash

For tyre orders:

  • Online payments are pre-authorised at the time of order and are only captured once tyres are delivered or fitted.

  9. If The Tyre Connect arrives at the provided location and the customer no longer requires the service.

  10. If the service is attempted but cannot be completed successfully for reasons outside The Tyre Connect’s control (for example, inaccessible vehicle, unsafe working conditions, or mechanical faults preventing completion).

5. Your Legal Rights

5.1 Statutory Rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to receive goods that are:

  • Of satisfactory quality;

  • Fit for purpose; and

  • As described.

Faulty goods are tyres that do not meet the reasonable expectations of quality due to manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Tyres with structural issues such as tread separation or sidewall defects.

  • Tyres that do not match the description provided at the time of purchase.

  • Tyres that fail to perform as expected under normal driving conditions due to a manufacturing defect.

Your Rights:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: If your tyre develops a fault within the first 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.

  • Within Six Months of delivery: If a fault occurs within six months of delivery, you can choose to have the tyre repaired or replaced. If repair or replacement isn’t possible, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.

  • After six months: You may still seek a remedy if you can show the fault existed at the time of delivery.

Exclusions - What is Not Considered a Manufacturing Fault:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, certain types of damage are generally not considered manufacturing faults and are therefore not covered by this policy. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Road Hazards: Punctures, cuts, or impact damage from road hazards, such as nails, glass, potholes, or debris.

  • Sidewall or Bead Damage: Damage from curbs, barriers, or other obstacles, including bulging, cracking, or separation of the sidewall due to impact or improper inflation.

  • Improper Maintenance: Uneven wear due to wheel misalignment, unbalanced wheels, or suspension issues; damage from incorrect tyre pressure or neglected tyre maintenance.

  • Improper Use: Damage resulting from the use of tyres on inappropriate vehicles, overloading, exceeding speed ratings, over-inflation or incorrect tyre size.

  • Environmental Factors: Damage from exposure to chemicals, extreme weather conditions, or prolonged exposure to the elements.

  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear due to regular use.

5.2 Right to Cancel — Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your tyres without providing a reason.

How to Cancel:
To exercise this right, you must notify The Tyre Connect in writing (email is sufficient) within the 14-day period. You must then return the goods within 14 days of cancellation.

Refund:
  A full refund, including standard delivery costs (if charged), will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Exceptions:

  • The cancellation right does not apply to custom or special-order tyres made to your specifications.

  • Tyres that have been mounted or driven on are deemed used and cannot be cancelled or refunded unless faulty under Section 5.1.

Inspection Rights: The 14-day cancellation period allows you to inspect the tyres as you would in a physical retail store. However, if tyres are fitted, inflated, or used, they are considered accepted and no longer eligible for cancellation unless faulty under Section 5.1.
